SUPERBOWL YUMMIES

And I wonder why I gained a pound this week! I LOVE ME SOME PICKLE DIP. I know it sounds gross. But we've had it at every family gathering that I can think of and there are NEVER any leftovers. It's just cream cheese, pickles (grated), and garlic salt. Pretty darn yummy. And yes, we made Pico for the superbowl too. I'm sad my Colts lost but happy that the Saints could have a win!!

This is Robert with his cute cousin Max. They're gonna be best buds. They spend almost everyday together. Max is learning what it's like to have a baby around and is an awesome big cousin!

I think Robert is teething. The poor child is only 4 months old BUT it is possible. He loves to chew on his frozen toys and his fingers and his blankie and anything else we'll let him chew on. He's also drooling a ton!

Buddy loves his Bubbies (that's what Bryce calls Robert) and Robert is a little heavy to really make the swing work anymore so Buddy (&Alvin) take advantage and give him LOTS of kisses while he's in it!

Here is Robert this morning. He wakes up talking to his "friends". The music doesn't even have to be on, but he LOVES to talk to them.

Rober Jack is 4 months old

Wow! I can't believe that my little man is 4 months old. I shouldn't really call him little but he's still my little man. Robert weights 16 lbs 4 oz (74%), he's 26 3/4 in (96%) and his head is 17 in (75%). He can roll from his back to his belly and his belly to his back. He LOVES sitting in his bumbo and loves his tummy times. He especially loves to talk to his "friends" anything that will listen to him, including the music box in his bed and the elephant hanging on his carseat. He loves that his Grammy and Aunt Brionne watch him and he's so lucky that he's so very loved by all of us!!

Bryce did an amazing job on Robert's blessing. The spirit was amazing and we were so grateful for all the family and friends that were there and we could feel the love of those that were not able to make it. In the circle was Grandpa Douglas Broadbent, Grandpa Ross Alvord, Uncle Dougie Broadbent, Cousin Kyle Clark, Friend Seth, Friend George, Brother Tucker, Uncle Robin Smith--we had many more come--Aunt Karen (Uncle Robin) and 5 of their kids plus 3 foster kids, their Daughter Rosalie & her son Matthew, Terri Klug (I work with her), Laurie Mudrow (my supervisor), her hubby Ray and their son Tanner, Delynn (George's wife), Megan their daughter and her son Landon (Russ had a work engagement), Julie (Kyle's wife), Melissa (Dougie's wife), Aunt Brionne & Cousin Max, Grandma Shelley Alvord, Grandma Carol Broadbent, Aunt Jazzy, Uncle Josh, Aunts Annie & Emmie and I plus all our friends in the ward.

Thanks to Laura Pabst I have his blessing written. I've debated whether or not to share and decided that I could. This isn't exact but it's pretty close
