26 weeks!!!

I really can't believe I'm already 26 weeks and Robert will be here in about 3 months (from this coming Monday :)) One of the girls at work and I decided that he's coming on the 9th though cuz it's a Friday and seemed like a good day to have him :) It's only 11 days early and that way he's only KIND OF big and not HUGE! Bryce got a laugh out of the email this week. I'll attach it to the bottom and you can see why...he said...where did they drop from...his face...boys!!!

The network of nerves in your baby's ears is better developed and more sensitive than before. He may now be able to hear both your voice and your partner's as you chat with each other. He's inhaling and exhaling small amounts of amniotic fluid, which is essential for the development of his lungs. These so-called breathing movements are also good practice for when he's born and takes that first gulp of air. And he's continuing to put on baby fat. He now weighs about a pound and two-thirds and measures 14 inches (an English hothouse cucumber) from head to heel. If you're having a boy, his testicles are beginning to descend into his scrotum — a trip that will take two to three days.

4th of July

I know that that picture is not the most attractive one of me but seriously spending the 4th of July in the Nevada HEAT was KILLER. I think everyone thought the baby twins were mine and I just was FAT still. LOL. It's all good :) This is right after we ate lunch in my Grandpa's Park after the parade. We were outside for about 3 1/2 hours and it wiped me out for the rest of the day. Seriously. It was humid and 110 that day! KILLER. I love going home but I don't envy those that live in Vegas and have to be prego! Which by the way. I just noticed I'm under 100 days until Robert gets here!!! Oh boy!!! We're so excited :)

Our New Friend

Bryce's buddy stopped by last night to introduce us to his new girlyfriend. And we decided to hang out outside. Buddy isn't super nice to Seth for some reason and we had left Buddy's shock collar remote in Vegas. My mom mailed it it's just not here yet. Neways Bryce was over by this bucket that has wood in it for the winter time that for some reason we have yet to move from our front yard. It needs to go in the shed. But newayz and this TOAD hops out and scares Bryce. He's like ,"UH, Cortney is that a mouse" It took me a minute to see what he was talking about and I said, it looks like a toad, so he traps it and runs inside to get his flashlight because it was getting dark and sure enough we have a friendly toad in our front yard. It was kind of random. I don't know if I've ever seen a toad in Utah, but I'm sure they're around.

Annie & Emmie

I forget it uploads them backwards and now my blogger is being so weird. It doesn't show me the pictures in the edit post.

Picture #1 is Jazzy with Emmie (left) and Annie (right). Emmie just hit 7 lbs up 6 ozs in a week and Annie is 7 lbs 12 oz she gained 4 oz in a week. The foster family that had them before was feeding them 40 cc's which is less then 1 1/2 oz every 3 hours. They were fussy all the time. Now they're content cuz they're FULL! Imagine that.

Picture #2 Is Emmie

Picture #3 Is Annie

Picture #4 & #5 Annie is the Lady Bug and Emmie is in solid Pink

Oh I miss them!!!

24 week Picture

Here is my Picture from last week. Not sure why I never posted it. I will have another one tomorrow! I'm 25 weeks tomorrow and I have 3 1/2 months left today!!! Wow! I can't believe it :) I'm getting anxious for Robert to get here and see his sweet face. I helped my mom with the new foster twin babies this weekend and it just made me want to hold Robert all the more :) But I can wait 3 1/2 months. I'm not quite ready :)

Boulder City Rainstorms

When it rains in Boulder City it pours. I think they got their years worth of rain in about 2 hours. Seriously. On Friday my mom and I ran to town for a few more items for the BBQ with her twin sister on the 4th and we also wanted to see if the silky fabric was on sale because I only had enough silky for one blanket instead of two :) On our way home about Railroad Pass (it's the last casino before Boulder City--no gambling in Boulder) it was raining so hard you could barely see. My the time we got to the 2nd stop light in town (there are only 3) there was hail coming down the size of small marshmellows. I'm seriously surprised my mom's windshield didn't break. Then, by the time we go to their housing development you couldn't even see the sidewalks. The picture of the water above is on a very STEEP hill and you can see the water was almost up to the sidewalk. It was over the sidewalk on the other side and was a RIVER it was crazy. Thank heavens it let up enough for us to get out of the car with the new babies :)
