Baby Boy Pictures

Profile Shot!

His little feet!

My favorite picture. Where the tech typed the word Leg (which is to the left of the word) is right on top of the 2nd foot so you can tell that he had his little legs crossed. They didn't stay crossed for long, because he was pretty active.

The tech asked us, what he was showing us, and Bryce said I don't know what am I looking at. The tech and Bryce had been joking since we got there (young tech). The tech said, "Your son's JUNK" LOL. It was funny and I'm surprised he got a picture cuz I was laughing and my belly was shaking :)

Profile Picture #2. You can see his spine and his "JUNK". So cute!

Front Door

Bryce and his dad painted my door finally on Saturday. We had to wait until it got warm again! Of course we paint it and then it rains for 3 days! LOL. It survived the rain and is all sun cured and awesome!!!

The Verdict is in....

So I can't get the pictures extracted from the CD, but we are happy to announce that we are going to have

A BOY!!!!

Bryce is so cute and so excited!! It's gonna be fun. The little guy didn't want to sit still at all during the ultrasound, but there is no denying that it's a boy!

Kolvin Vaughn Thompson

Picture his daddy sent out to all his friends announcing that he has a SON.
Picture that I took shortly after he was born.
His mommy is so in love already!! Who wouldn't be!

You can see in this picture how little he is. Kolvin is Bryce and my really good friends little boy. Andrea and Dan are so amazing and we're so grateful for their friendships. This is their 2nd child together, but their first to be able to raise here in this life. Little Abbe was born last April and lived just a short while (she was born at 23 weeks). Kolvin is healthy and strong. He was little, 4 lbs 15 ozs, but mom and baby are home (last night) and he was born Tuesday night. He's so adorable!! They're of course hoping we're having a boy so that Kolvin and our baby will be friends. Andrea has a little girl from her first marriage (that has been sealed to Dan & Andrea :)) and Emma (5) is so excited to be a big sister! CONGRATS DAN & ANN.

18 weeks!

My friend at work makes fun of me for taking my "weekly" belly shot in the bathroom at work. I don't own a full length mirror and we have a deocorative mirror in our bathroom at home and is too high for my shortness. This is my 18 week shot and I swear that the 3 days it's been since this picture, I've really grown. I can definately feel the baby now. Last night, we worked on the yard for longer then I should have and the baby was SOOOOOO active. It was really fun!!

Whitney Ann & Tyler Wray Willard are MARRIED

My cousin Whitney married her High School Sweetheart in the Las Vegas LDS Temple on Saturday May 16th. She was the prettiest bride I've ever seen! Seriously! She also was one of the nicest brides. I never once heard her get upset with anything. The sweetest part of the whole day was the father/daughter dance where my Uncle Tom sang while he danced with Whit. So precious. My Uncle's band played at the reception!! So much fun!
Love Temple Pictures! Whitney & Tyler!

Cutting the Cake

Bryce & I at the temple. I swear I don't feel fat until I see pictures!

Dancing with my super tall, giagantic man!!! LOL. You can see my cousin Darren (in the pink) dancing with one of Whitney's bridesmaids. I love that people are so accepting of my cousins with Down's syndrome. You can also see Dougie & Melissa dancing who are getting married on the 30th. Excited for them. Not excited to drive to and from San Diego.

17 Weeks....and counting....wait...who's counting??

So I'm pretty much feeling HUGE! But it's all good! Two weeks until the ULTRASOUND!!! YAHOO!!!! I can't wait. We get to go home this weekend for my cousin's wedding and I'm super excited about that. :) I'm so anxious to feel this little one move. I swear I felt it yesterday but who's to know for sure. I'm sure once I start feeling it, I will think....STOP!! No more. Just Kidding :)----OK JEN (cooper) This should fix the issues with the color and size of this post. I didn't look at the post after I posted it. As for the last picture, that black and white shirt makes me look HUGE but I promise I am getting bigger.

Your baby's skeleton is changing from soft cartilage to bone, and the umbilical cord — her lifeline to the placenta — is growing stronger and thicker. Your baby weighs 5 ounces now (about as much as a turnip), and she's around 5 inches long from head to bottom. She can move her joints, and her sweat glands are starting to develop.

My Craft Room OASIS

Craft Room Picture #1

The other side...

So blogger is really making me mad. I can't get it to let me type the story at the BEGINNING of the post. What the heck? Neways, I'm not sure if any of you remember that I was going to get a craft room in this house of ours. We bought the house 11 months ago! WOW! have we really been homeowners that long and we're FINALLY getting to finishing up some things. Our projects right now include finishing the paint the bedroom/den downstairs--which was going to be an office and now will host a twin bed and our computer cuz we need a place for the twin bed cuz of our little one on the way, getting all my craft stuff to the craft room and cleaning out our FULL two car garage. How can TWO 2o-somethings have a house and garage full of STUFF!! On Saturday after Bryce helped with the Ward/Neighborhood cleanup, he moved my dresser and the office credenza that will now be storage for craft stuff and the old kitchen table my grandma gave me for my craft room to the shed/CRAFT OASIS!!! He also started moving my boxes and boxes and old storage things of craft stuff out to the CRAFT OASIS. Last night we moved most of the rest of the boxes out to the shed....I mean OASIS and I started going thru them. I made it thru the multi colored storage compartment you see in the above pictures which is going to find itself at my friends garage sale. I also made it thru a rubbermaid 3 drawer compartment thingy. Not bad, I'd say. There is SOOOOOOOO much more to do, but I'm just excited to be able to have my sewing machine out and my cricut and I may still use my Sizzix if It's out on a stable table. I can finish all my crazy projects and not make a mess while doing it because I've had to dig thru stuff to get to it.

We're painting edges tonight in the basement bedroom/den and the 2nd coat and hopefully the ceiling. So that we can get the furniture moved Wednesday/Thursday and then we can set up the babies room---what we have so far next week. I guess people saying I'm nesting already. Who knows, it feels good to have my house coming to order. If it's nesting, let it be cuz I might get to park my car in the garage this summer!!!

Mother's Day

I guess technically this is my 1st Mother's Day. Our little one hasn't arrived yet, but I'm still going to be a mom soon! Bryce made me breakfast (at 11:oo am cuz we slept in :)) and i sat and cuddle with my boys while he did it. Alvin was especially cuddly which he usually isn't at all. I tried calling my mom but somewhere in the last 5 months I forgot they have am church, so I called in right in the middle of their sacrament meeting. OPPS! It was a good day. Bryce's mom made dinner and we brought desert (chocolate pie of course :)). We just relaxed. The picture above is Buddy relaxing with this legs crossed and Alvin actually posed for the camera. Please excuse my open closet! I'd apologize but it's never closed. Why close it? I'd just have to open it again.

For my mom for Mother's Day the kids and I all got together and made my Mom a calendar! She didn't get it yet. She should get it today. I also got her this frame that has 5 preserved dragonflies. Her sister that passed away last September LOVED dragonflies and so they've become my mom and her sisters new obssession. LOVE YOU MOM! Thanks for all that you do! I can't wait for you to be a grandma! You're going to be a great one!!!

Bryce's mom (middle) has a small obsession with Scrabble! LOL! SHE LOVE SCRABBLE. I found these two travel games that she doesn't have. One is a card game and the other is a fast paced game, kind of like speed scrabble. I also made her a necklace. I forgot to take a picture of it, so I will next time I go over there. Thank you Mom, Shelley, for being such a wonderful MIL. I couldn't ask for a better one! You are amazing and I'm so grateful for you. I can't wait for you to have a grandbaby close :). I know that it drives you crazy to have Max so far away. Hopefully our little one can fill the time inbetween Max visits! We love you!!!

Boy or Girl??

I had my 1st doctor's appointment with my new doctor today. She's married to my mom's cousin and delivered my cousin's first son!! She's really nice! I got to hear the babies heart beat!! That was way exciting. Made me REALLY nervous at first but it was fun. I am 16 weeks today. I can't believe how fast it is going yet at the same time, I still have 24 weeks to go! LOL! I'm just inpatient, as my parents and my husband. We'll find out if it's a boy or a girl on May 26th!!! YEAH!!! I can't wait. Our appointment is at 7:30 in the morning EW but that way Bryce can be there! I'm excited cuz it's just going to make that week even better. 1st Monday is Memorial Day so NO WORK and then I have Friday off to drive to San Diego for Dougie & Melissa's WEDDING so it's a 3 day work week and on Tuesday I find out if I'm having a boy or girl!! So much fun! I'm going to put a poll so you guys can guess what I'm having! Sounds fun. I told my dad I wanted to do a poll and he said....I poll it's a baby cuz I don't think it's a puppy or a joey HAHA dad!! Last week he tried to tell me to wait until the baby was born to find out the sex! Seriously DAD! WHY!!!
