I found this quote on someone's blog - I love it!!!!!
"The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude to me is more important than education, than money, than circumstances, than failures, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness, or skill. It will make or break a company, a church, a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice everyday regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past. We cannot change the fact that people will act in certain ways. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one thing we have and that is our attitude...I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% how I react to it. And so it is with you...we are in charge of our attitudes." Charles Swindoll

Update on our CRAZY life!
Well, the newest update on the house is we're still anxiously waiting. We talked to our realtor today and they bank that we'd be buying it from is working up something. They have to have someone that could close by the 10th because on the 11th it's a foreclosure and would HAVE to go to auction which would mean that they would get a lot less money than they're asking for it. We're still hopefully and prayful that it would work out.
We've been trying to do "cheap" or "free" dates. So last night we went to Home Depot to pick out the paint for the house (if we get it) and we found a really cool toffee color for the front room which will match perfectly with our green and wood furniture and than we want to paint the kitchen RED. I know. I LOVE LOVE LOVE red. Except I saw this really cool orange kitchen but most of our kitchen stuff is Red, so we're going to stick with that.
The wall color is in the 2nd column 3rd from the bottom!!!
The kitchen color is the 2nd color TOP one. We can't decide to just do it under the chairrail or under and above! We also picked out our fridge and washer/dryer while we were there! It was so much fun. I recommend just going and looking and dreaming while you can. We picked all GE appliances. We're pretty excited. Now we just need the HOUSE!!!!
This is the fridge we really like
Super fabulous washer that Bryce said we could get!!!
with the matching dryer!!
Other than that, not a whole lot is going on. Bryce starts his apprasial classes online and I'm doing my first independant study assignment this weekend!! Yikes! It's so hard getting back into school!

New Design for a New Day!
Ok. So my sweet little friend reminded me that it was not Valentines anymore, so I decided that I want it to be spring so my blog is spring colors now! Isn't that fun?
Update on the house....Wait there isn't one...We still haven't heard from the bank's realtor except that no one else has made an offer so the outlook looks good! Why can't they just call us! Well, we're packing this weekend anyway cuz what if they say yes on Monday and we close by Friday (which was the orginal plan) YIKES! We'd have to be really really ready. That would only give us two weekends. Thanks for all your prayers in our behalf.
We love you!

The house we really really really want!!!
Kitchen/Dining Area
View from Kitchen into Family/Living Room
Main Bathroom. The Vanity and Sink are new!
Old Master bedroom....if we get it it will be a guest bedroom.
3rd room. Hopefully Bryce's office. I told him we'd have to keep up the truck border ;)
The master bedroom. It has a half basement and the whole basement is a master suite!
Master closet. Well, part of it. It's just like a small room. The washer and dryer are in the closet :)
View from Family room into the kitchen (the wallpaper HAS TO go!!)
View of main bath from old master bedroom. There is a bathroom in the basement, but it's not finished and what is done (besides the plumbing and electrical) would have to be redone, but that's a project for down the road!
It's a short sale....meaning the bank owns it and is trying to get rid of it before it goes to auction so it's listed for a lot less than it's worth. It's a fabulous find! We're really hoping they accept our offer! It's in Taylorsville about 3900 W 5900 S. Yeah!!!

New House
SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO excited. Bryce and I are looking at buying a house! I can't wait. I'll keep you posted but I just had to share!
Hinckley Challenge
Many of you may have already received an email forward concerning what they're calling a "Warrior Challenge." It is to read the Book of Mormon as a tribute to the call of the late President Gordon B. Hinckley in 97 days. I thought I'd post a link for you to look into it if you've not received the forward and invite you to participate if you would like. You can create a user name and password and record each day the pages you've read through the site. Right now there are close to 20,000 members participating. I've committed now and I hope to see it through. It's telling me to read 5.69 pages a day. Wow! Good luck to me and all of you who are already participating. (Thanks Marci for posting this!!)
