I did weight watchers after my first marriage. I moved home, I was unhappy and I needed something to help me get back in shape. I didn't do it very long but it got me on the right path.
Well, I lost all my weight and then some and was back down to High School graduation weight of 145 (yes that's heavy for someone my height but I get to count 15 lbs of muscles from the killer swim workouts I used to do) when I met Bryce. Shortly after that I was put on anti-depressants (which I should have been on YEARS ago--but that's another story) and birth control. From the end of May until end July. I gained 15 lbs and went up 2 dress sizes. Yeah, talk about SURPRISE when I went to pick up my wedding dress. By the end of 2007, after we got married I was back up to 185. Sometime in the next year I gained another 10 lbs and then I got pregnant. I only put on 35 lbs while pregnant and I lost all 35 lbs within 6 weeks (most of my weight was water weight). But for the last 16 months I have been STRUGGLING to get that extra 30+ lbs that I had before I was pregnant. Nothing is working.
I'm still on anti-depressants (I will be for life so that's not an option) but I have an IUD. Some people say that's what's causing it, well, I can be on the pill because it makes my depression worse which I recently found out the hard way so I need to do something else. My next door neighbor, Jen, and I are doing Weight Watchers. It's day 1. We weighed in last night after dinner so yesterday didn't count. I'm at my steady 196. The lowest I got after Robert was 192. So 196.8 isn't bad. LOL. My goal is to loose at least 20 by my 10 year high school reunion. But for NOW my goal is to be under 190. That will feel fabulous!!
I LOVE WW's new plan. It makes so much more sense. I'm glad to have a buddy doing it with me and I'm excited for my mom and Aunt to join soon as well. We're going to loose weight and keep it off. Our WW Speaker last night said, she has maintained her goal weight for 10 years and with the new plan she's lost an additional 11 lbs!! That's amazing. Maybe I can really get to 145 (which is a size 4 for me). That would be AMAZING!!!
I'm going to track my weight loss with the tracker above. Now I told you all my dirty secrets :)

I am proud of you! I love you tons! You can make your goals, I know it! It's always better to have a buddy too!
I had an IUD for 5 years. It didn't make me gain weight. It's possible it's your anti-depressant. I know that is a VERY common side effect for those meds. BUT with a good meal plan and exercise I think you will make your goals for sure!
Good luck! Love you tons!
Good for you! I was considering posting the same thing ... I'm excited about this (I've been wearing my body bugg for about a day now :D ) and I know if we do it together and promise to GO every week ... that we will be successful!
So proud! You can do it! I did it, and you can too!
Best wishes with WW! I'm excited for you!
