WOW! Where has my little boy gone?!?!
I spent last week Tues-Fri home with the little Mr. He has his first (and hopefully ONLY) case of the CROUP.
During this last week, I swear Robert knows a word for everything. He grew leaps and bounds in a week.
This morning he came into the bathroom and said "come". He wanted me to following him. So I did and he pointed to the juice and said juice bippee (sippy).
We went for a walk on Sunday and he excitedly pointed to the garage and said something close to garage. I knew what he was talking about.
He points out EVERY SINGLE flag/flagpole that he sees. There are A LOT of fwagpoes that I never noticed before!
He still stops everything when he hears the helicopters/airplanes. The more he does this, the more I feel like it's partial a connection with his namesakes (my grandpa director of aviation at mccarren and bryce's grandpa died test flying a plane for the service---sorry don't know which service but he flew planes--i want to say navy).
He starting to think he can climb OUT of his bed. I'm not ready for him to not be in his crib. Hopefully he forgets about that. He hasn't made it out but it's only a matter of time. Maybe I need to start looking for a toddler bed :)
Another Robert obsession is with cleaning his hands. I'm assuming my sister-in-law is afraid of the exchange of sickness. He says, hands...hands and sticks them out so you can squirt anti-bacterial soap. He rubs it in and 10 minutes later he wants more. I distract him and that usually helps until he sees it again.
His favorite show is "EMO" aka Nemo, which we watched at least 3 times a day while he was sick. Not really a fan of Cars (well he better become one because his room is going to be cars, not the movie cars but cars) and he enjoys Toy Story 2 (we don't own 1 and I think 3 is dumb).
He loves to mimic noises and will repeat any word you say to him. He tries REALLY hard to say Aunt Brionne. Doesn't come out like that at all, it's like Awbwe or something.
He's mastered
Papa (still his favorite person)
Dada
Mama
Max
Jace (our next door neighbor
Jen (Jace's mom)
Gamma
Gampa
Josh
Jazzy (Yaz)
DeeDee--Darron, in fact a lot of people are Dee Dee--;)
He's said Dougie once, clear as day and now doesn't try
Still working on the rest.
