Doctor's Appointment
My doctor's appointments will start being on my "WEEK" mark starting this coming Tuesday but this week I went today (Thursday). It was my first REAL CHECK to see if I've started at all. Now, I have to say that before I went I was a little concerned because I was nervous that (1) I'd be at 0 cm and 0% effaced and that would just be disappointing BUT (2) that they'd say oh wow! you're at 5 cm and 100% effaced you're not leaving go downstairs. Bryce's mom left for Savannah this morning and will be gone until Tuesday night and my dad just had minor surgery on his foot this past Monday so it would be hard for my mom to come up! SOOOOOOOOOOOO I was nervous! Glad to say NEITHER of those things happened. I'm at 1 cm and I'm 50% effaced!! Wahoo! I know I can be that until my due date but I've felt for the last couple weeks that I won't make it that far. (And not just because of wishful thinking). I also found out that my doctor will be out of town from October 8th-October 19th (I'm due the 20th!!!) so we decided today (me and Robert) that he's coming on October 7th. I'll have a doctors appointment on October 6th and the 7th is MY dad's birthday and so it will be a great birthday present for my dad :) So hopefully Robert sticks to his end of our deal and actually listens :) If not, I guess someone else is delivering him because I don't want to wait until my due date! IT'S GETTING SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO CLOSE!!!!

October 7th would be awesome!! That's great news- I had to go and hear nothing for a weeks so I am SOOOO happy for you!!!
Holy Crap, for a second there I was like, you are 100% effaced?!?! That would be so awesome if he came on the 7th! I'll cross my fingers for you!
Stay strong, you are almost there! your 36 week pic is super cute. Hope it all works out for you on the 7th!
Alright, where are my pictures you promised, huh? Haha, I am SOOO KIDDING! I hope you are doing ok and getting some rest and not worrying about your blog or facebook!!! Those first few days and weeks and even months are SOOOOO tiring (to say the least). I hope you are recovering well! Ooh,
if I can share a little tip, write down our birth story (that you do not have to post unless you want too!) while it's still fresh in your mind so that you remember all the details (if you want to remember or to REMIND yourself next time you have a baby. :) I read mine a little while ago and was amazed at how much I forgot!
