Play Date

A couple weekends ago, I watched my nephew Max (middle child in the group pictures) and I thought it would be fun to invite my friend Jen's little boy Jace over (they live next door) to play. Jen was going to be tutoring so it would give her hubby a break and be fun for the boys. The boys played SOOOO well together. Max is 5 months older than Jace and Jace is 6 months older than Robert. It's super fun!!! We watched, "Monster's Inc" because Jace picked it out. We played cars and toy story and we had GUSHERS---hence the blue mouths. :) They were so cute and I wish I had a picture of all of them looking but I think it's great that 2 are looking in most of the pictures.

Bear Lake 0813-15 2010

We love going to Bear Lake with the Thompson's. Dan and Bryce get along so well...almost too well. Our boys are starting to become friends as well. They have a little girl as well, but she was at her dad's this weekend so she didn't get to come and Andrea is having another little boy in October.

Dragonfly--it must have been mating season there were HUGE ones stuck together and lots of little ones flying everywhere.

Robert has a "cold". The poor little guy has the reddest eyes and he a runny nose. He still has it. It's been about 9 days now. He also coughs and coughs. I feel so bad for him. But despite it all, he's as happy as can be!

Mr. Kolvin. Kolvin and Robert are the same height and weight. Kolvin is 4 1/2 months older than Robert.

You can see in this picture how little he is. Kolvin is Bryce and my really good friends little boy. Andrea and Dan are so amazing and we're so grateful for their friendships. This is their 2nd child together, but their first to be able to raise here in this life. Little Abbe was born last April and lived just a short while (she was born at 23 weeks). Kolvin is healthy and strong. He was little, 4 lbs 15 ozs, but mom and baby are home (last night) and he was born Tuesday night. He's so adorable!! They're of course hoping we're having a boy so that Kolvin and our baby will be friends. Andrea has a little girl from her first marriage (that has been sealed to Dan & Andrea :)) and Emma (5) is so excited to be a big sister! CONGRATS DAN & ANN.

Temple Date

Ok for some reason blogger put the photos on here backwards. But we went to temple square with the love birds (my brother and his girlyfriend) and I don't know what to call them the swim couple. We had so so much fun. First we met at our house and had "Big Daddy's Pizza" (the best $5 pizza ever) and girly love bird and I stopped at Harmons for soda and their 2 litter's were on sale for 69 cents, so I went crazy :) We then went to the Salt Lake City Cemetary so that the boys could scare us with the man that sits on the headstone (turns out to be a lady hold a baby---a statue) and we went to Temple Square to look at the lights and enjoy the moment together. :) After that we went back to our house and I made cookies (girlie birds favorite thing ever) and we watched the clean flicks version of "The Hills Have Eyes" by the time I was done baking the movie was half way over and it was 1:20 am so I just fell asleep cuz I HATE scary movies!!! It was so much fun!! The Swim Couple :)

We went to the Rednecks (our friends in Brigham) earlier in the day so the boys could work on building some bird thing and the girls went shopping in Ogden! It was a lot of fun. Their dog got out and I felt so bad for them but she turned up later that night.

We also set up our Christmas lights which I'll have to take a picture of them tonight and to top off the night my phone went SWIMMING in the TOILET!! Sick, so I'm letting it air dry. I think that's all for updating right now. I still need to post our Thanksgiving pictures. I'll do that this week!

Bryce's Dunes Trip 10-25-08

My hubby got to enjoy one of his favorite things this weekend. He went to the dunes with Tyler and Tim and his dad and then Tyler's brother and brother's friend. They went Saturday EARLY...that's pretty much the only this that Bryce wakes up happy for early in the morning! He had a blast. Phoenix HERE I COME!!!

SOOOOOOOOOOO excited to go visit my girlfriends in Phoenix. I haven't seen Celeste since 2005 (this weekend actually). And Shelly moved back to Phoenix in Novemeber so it's been awhile. I'm going to be gone until late Monday night (what's my hubby going to do without me??) He'll be fine! Can't wait. I'll post pictures when I get home.

WOW!

That's my favorite word if you hadn't noticed. One of my dear friends is having her 100th blog post today and I said to her that I wasn't even close. Well, that wasn't entirely true because this is post 79. Yikes, I think I'm a little obsessed, but seriously I think I enjoy reading all my friends blogs more than I like posting. Sometimes forget that I can't just read everyone's blogs. My new favorite thing, thanks to the 100th blog post friend is google reader. You add all your friend's blogs to it and than it lets you know when there is a new post. Than you don't have to spend hours looking at the same post all the time! :)

We're going to Vegas for Easter. My little brother took his girlfriend home (for the 1st time--we've met her but not the extended family) and so we're going to see the babies. I'll make sure to take pictures so that everyone can see. We're going to take family pictures since everyone will be home!!
